Ronnie Coleman Has Had More Than a Dozen Major Procedures to Correct His Issues Including Two Hip Replacements and 10 Back Surgeries!

Ronnie Coleman is still alive in 2022. Yes, of course, he is still training. Despite his health issues, he has continued to train to prevent muscle loss, but he can only lift light weights now. He keeps working out and uploads tons of weightlifting content to his millions of followers on social media.

Most recently, the world-famous weightlifter had a night out with three of his daughters on their annual Daddy/Daughter dance in school. He now lives in Arlington with his wife, American personal trainer Susan Williamson, and their four children. He also has a popular YouTube channel where he discusses the evolution of his physique.

While he is still massive, his body has atrophied and is not as strong as it once was. Eight-time Mr. Olympia and iconic bodybuilder has been in and out of the hospital several times in recent years. He has had more than a dozen major procedures to correct his issues including two hip replacements and 10 back surgeries.

The former Mr. Olympia was admitted to the hospital in February 2018 to have his intestines removed and screws inserted and removed from his back, followed by the reinsertion of his intestines. Moreover, Coleman revealed in 2018 that he had spent more than $2 million on surgeries.

Ronnie Coleman then revealed in June 2020 that he may never be able to walk again. He blamed his misfortune, at least in part, on the surgeon who performed his most recent procedure. Ronnie stated in a video interview with Ron Harris of Muscular Development that the cost of his last three surgeries was prohibitively expensive.

Other than this, the former policeman underwent his tenth surgery in September 2019 to replace four broken screws from 2018. His injuries are the result of a competitive bodybuilding career. Various news outlets have reported that Coleman is crippled and may be paralyzed. But he always seemed to find his way back to the gym by himself to work out.
